S&D Junior Tournament

John Andrews reports that the 2018 Junior Tournament was completed with a Finals Day on 27th July. In contrast to previous years it was hoped there might be some rain at convenient times to cool things down a bit! A record, for recent years, of 214 matches were completed in a tournament organised by Sue Pugh and Fay Buchan, and refereed by Fiona Fellows, and many thanks to all the volunteers without whom the event could not run. As usual Beauchief and Ecclesall clubs provided superb facilities, and our sponsor, Penny Jameel of Deuce UK Ltd, donated the prizes; our sincerest thanks to them.
